Terms and Agreements
Terms of Agreement:
Effective January 1, 2008
By agreeing to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you (the "User") become a User of BabySwags.com and agree to be bound by this Agreement (the "Agreement"). This Agreement is subject to change by BabySwags.com at any time, and such changes are effective upon posting of the change herein.
Basket Participation Policy:
If you would like to participate in our Celebrity Gift Baskets, you will agree to the following:
- You must submit your registration form to Baby Swags along with sending in a product sample for review. We are very particular with regards to the products we include in our baskets.
- In addition to having a quality product, you must have a quality website. Remember that you have 5 seconds to capture your viewers attention, and that includes editors and potential retailers. If your site is unsightly, you risk losing the sale or the editorial. Prior to working with us, we may suggest making changes to your existing website, so please do not take offense. We do not wish to waste your time or ours as we know how valuable time is these days.
- Baby Swags must be linked to your press page, either by a text link or logo link. We would be happy to link partner with you and list your company on our client listing providing you place a reciprocal link on your press page. We will be checking periodically to verify that our link is placed on your site. If it is not, we will make contact one time, and if a link is not placed, we will remove your company from our Clients listing page.
- For new clients, to continue receiving our newsletters, you must participate in at least 3 gift baskets within a 6 months time period. If you do not participate within that time frame, your email address will be removed from our database and your username and password will be suspended. To have your privileges reinstated, you must complete the registration process again, however you do not need to submit a product for the second time. Your participation starts on the date that we send you our welcome packet via email and ends 6 months later.
- If you are an existing client, you must have participated in at least one basket from June 1, 2007 to January 1, 2008 to continue receiving our newsletters and updates.

- If for some reason a package is rejected, we will contact your company directly and we will either send the product back to you or you may place it in another basket that we are working on. *Please note that no refunds will be issued if the basket is refused or rejected.
Contract terms:
- Our terms are very simple if you are using the following services, by having us write your press releases, submitting your press release, media kit productions, product descriptions, editorial and various other media contacts, you will place the babyswags.com logo or text link somewhere on your website. We will be periodically verifying that request with our clients and if a logo or link is not in sight, we will contact you and make that request once. If we check again and it is still not there, we reserve the right to withhold services from your company.
- Your company will be responsible for any expenses in addition to your retainer fees. Those expenses would consist of postage, packaging materials, and any other unforeseen expenses.
- You agree to provide us with credit information that we can keep on file. In the event that your account is delinquent we reserve the right to place any unpaid balances, plus processing fees on the credit card that was provided.
Press Release Terms:
Please also note that with our press release writing we will guarantee a rating of 4-5. We will allow up to 3 changes in your press release before additional charges will incur. We will start billing at $55.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. We want you to be happy with your press release and will do our very best to make you happy!
Service Cancellations:
If you no longer wish to use our services, please have the courtesy to contact us via email as we prefer to have the cancellation in writing. You can email us at: info@babyswags.com.
Payments:
We accept Paypal, Checks, Money Orders and all major Credit Cards. All services must be paid prior to the start of your contracted services.
